Visits, sessions and actions, one by one

Step through anonymous visits and sessions to see the path people took and the actions along the way, and count every page view and named action your site records.

Every action your site records

The events tab counts every page view and named action, such as an enquiry sent or a brochure downloaded, so you can see what people actually do on your site.

Visits and sessions, one at a time

Open any anonymous visitor or session to see the pages they moved through, where they came from, the approximate country they visited from and how long they stayed. It is the closest look you can get without knowing who anyone is.

Find an action by name

Search the actions your site records and copy its event key straight into a goal, so the name your developer used and the name you count are always the same.

Can I see who a visitor is?

No. Visitors are anonymous by design. WebTrack records what happened on your site, never who did it.

How long is a session?

A session lasts while someone keeps using your site. After 30 minutes without activity, their next visit starts a new one.

The same anonymous visits and actions feed Realtime and your goals, and Privacy sets out what is kept about them.
